Bus + Lorry + Car = Accident

On my way to town for lunch about 1230 p.m., saw an accident. It happen at the junction. The traffic light junction to hospital. Not surprise.Why? Because that area are prone to accident. Just last month, a oil palm tanker tit from behind and cause all the palm oil to split onto the road and cause more that 4 accidents.

This time it involve 1 bus with almost full of passenger, and lorry belong to a local transport company i.e. Harbour Services - loaded with plywood and a small kancil which is badly hit from behind. It seem that the bus was on the way to town. And the lorry to port, and kancil maybe to kidurong or Sg. Plan. Who is wrong? Don't know. But normally the lorry driver. Why I said lorry driver is because the driver will speed up if the traffic light start to turn yellow or red. Even red, the driver will keep speeding up. Just like see a ghost. They just cannot wait for the next turn. Accident involve lorry or trailer always happen in Bintulu especially Kidurong road. It seem that the driver do not care for other car especially smaller car. What a pity...

Accident Again....this time 2 at same time

On my way to my office from town, not far from Nyabau traffic light, after the SM Teknik school, saw 2 accidents happen on the same road. not far from each other. About 10 meters. The first accident I saw was a Viva or Kancil over turn and landed in the middle drain. Even the drain is not made from concrete, but the roof of the car is badly damaged. Guest the driver or passenger must be in serious pain. And not far from the 1st accident, saw another accident. A Myvi hit the middle of the road. Must be hit the tree. But the driver is lucky as his car just damage from the front part only.

Why there accident of the same road? Because of the slippery road cause by the oil palm tanker yesterday about 5 p.m. Yesterday late afternoon, the spot at the traffic light, an oil palm tanker hit another oil palm tanker from behind. So the impact cause the oil palm split out from the tanker. And worst still that the tanker is full and on the way to oil palm refinery. Because of it, the streach of road from the traffic light until the junction to Daiken(if drive up to LNG), and from traffic light until the junction to Kidorung Telekom (if drive down to town) is slippery. And worst still, there not even a sigh board that show slippery road and to remind others driver about the danger of the road. Just be careful when drive the Kidurong Road.

Road Elephant Fall Into Drain

On my way to town from my office, I saw the so-call elephant at road fall into the drain. It was the prime mover belong to Harbour Services Sdn Bhd was stuck into the drain at Jln Kidurong about noon time. The driver was lost control and end up accident. Most of the big car like this drive like crazy.

Fire @ Bintulu Town

This morning about 9.00 a.m, while I was on my way to Public Bank, I was curious why the road to Bintulu town was jam. At first I thought maybe there is a road block by police. So I take the another route to the town. Play safe and I don't want to get traffic ticket. And parked my car a bit far away, coz the jam is so bad to the town area, so I can walk to the bank. While walking, I saw there a fire on one of the shop selling so-called China product, clothes, etc was on fire. It happen on the 3rd floor storey building. By the time I saw it, the fire was out. The people was standing on the road site to see the free drama of fireman putting off the fire. Plus the car even. That why it cause the jam. Some driver even stop at the road for few second just to see the fire, and not even care about behind car who was in hurry to town.  I managed to took some photo while I was walking to the bank. 

Another Accident @ Jln Kidurong, Bintulu

    It was raining in the morning and noon time. As I was on my way for lunch about 1230 hrs, and because its raining I was driving slowly about 50 or 60 km/hr only.  When I reach the bridge near SMK Teknik, I saw an accident which the behind car hit the bumper of the car. Accident at Miri - Bintulu Highway

Yesterday on my way back from my office about 6pm, I saw a trailer - 40 footer trailer skidded on the road. The head of the trailer was on the side of the road, while the body of the trailer was across the road which is blocking the whole road. it took about 20 min for the driver to move the trailer on the position on the road again so he driver will not block the road. 

Luckily no accident happen. In Bintulu most of the accident happen involved trailer and lorry. Sometime, accidents can happen about 7 to 10 times a day or more in same road especially the Kidurong road when it raining time. 

Early Morning Accident

Early morning I went to my office to work. It about 7am this morning and that is the peak period where most of the workers go to work in Kidorong area. So today, I decided not to go work early like 5.30a.m. because no much activities this morning. So I ask my driver to pick me up at 7 am, and drive straight to my office, which is at the end of the Kidorong highway. On the way, after the traffic light junction between the intersection to Kidorong and town, there massive traffic jam. It took more than 15 minute to reach the accident area. When there traffic jam in  between the kidorong road, surely I know there accident, especially during raining time and after raining. As reach nearer and nearer the accident area, I saw 4 cars hit each other. The worst is a van and proton saga. After pass the area, about 5 minute, saw another self accident. A car slip into the drain. Luckily the drain is not concrete. Only this morning alone, saw 2 accidents. Maybe more accident to come later. Hope not me.
