My Engagement

Finally, I proposed to my girlfriend that I want to marry her. And on 29 May 2009 or 29.05.09, I officially engaged to my long and only girlfriend in Labuan. The engagement was simple. I proposed to her with a beautiful gold ring. I inserted the ring into her finger, and she inserted into my finger. Both of us inserted our engagement ring after she finish working and on our way home, inside the car. In the evening, we and her parent when out for dinner.Now is the time to plan for my wedding. Need to chose for the suitable date for our wedding.

Sleep inside the Car

International Airport Terminal 1to sleep inside the car. But after 1 hour cannot sleep because of the Arrived KK evening with my fiancee. This is my 2nd trip to KK in less than 1months. But didn't booked any hotel coz I didn't think that all hotel in KK will be fully book. Yes. All the hotel is fully booked or full house. It Keamatan at Sabah. That what make all the hotel, motel even inn is full. So sleep where. At first drive my car to KKmosquito biting us in the car. So at 3 a.m. in the morning, drive to McDonald Dive In, part my car next to it, have a cup of coffee and online. My fiancee try to get some sleep while I blogging to keep me busy and awake. Hope that tomorrow can find a place to stay.

Accident Again....this time 2 at same time

On my way to my office from town, not far from Nyabau traffic light, after the SM Teknik school, saw 2 accidents happen on the same road. not far from each other. About 10 meters. The first accident I saw was a Viva or Kancil over turn and landed in the middle drain. Even the drain is not made from concrete, but the roof of the car is badly damaged. Guest the driver or passenger must be in serious pain. And not far from the 1st accident, saw another accident. A Myvi hit the middle of the road. Must be hit the tree. But the driver is lucky as his car just damage from the front part only.

Why there accident of the same road? Because of the slippery road cause by the oil palm tanker yesterday about 5 p.m. Yesterday late afternoon, the spot at the traffic light, an oil palm tanker hit another oil palm tanker from behind. So the impact cause the oil palm split out from the tanker. And worst still that the tanker is full and on the way to oil palm refinery. Because of it, the streach of road from the traffic light until the junction to Daiken(if drive up to LNG), and from traffic light until the junction to Kidorung Telekom (if drive down to town) is slippery. And worst still, there not even a sigh board that show slippery road and to remind others driver about the danger of the road. Just be careful when drive the Kidurong Road.

My Netbook - eeepc 4G

Last time, notebook or laptop is consider portable computer where can bring from one place to another place easily. Imagine if a person want to bring whole PC everyday from office and then back home again. It would be non sense to do that. That why some computer company created - Notebook. Make life easy. But recently, maybe since last 2 years, come another type of most simple, yet light, and not big size, just the size of B4 size paper only type of computer. It called - Netbook. Netbook is simple and easy to use. It mostly target people with travel a lot without want to bring an extra bag for laptop, but just pack and go into the luggage. Just like me. But netbook have very limited space of storage, and mainly for those rely on internet or just want to be online, but netbook also can be use like normal PC. I have my own Netbook, which is almost 1 year old and its still working perfectly. It serve me a lot and help me  a lot especially when I keep on the move and when I need to access to my email and online like keep writing in my blog. I like my Asus Eeepc 4G netbook. Thank you my Asus Eeepc 4G netbook.

ATR Experience

This is my first time fly using ATR. ATR is Mas Wings new fleet. Soon it will replace with the old junk Fokker. It can bring 70 passengers at 1 time. But in ART, all the safety demonstration is done by mini LCD screen. I notice there also business class seat in front. Just about 4 seats only. But the seating positions is numbering from back to front. As for Fokker, front to back. To boarding the plane, the leader is at the back. Fokker is at front. During the take off and landing time, it still feel shaking and noisy. But it feel good that it a new plane.

Hope to see more ART fly to Labuan to accomodate more passenger.

1st Year Anniversary In Company

Happy anniversary to me. Today I celebrate my 1 year working in the company. Time fly so fast. It just like yesterday only, when I start to join in the company. The working environment is up and down. But office politic is always there no matter which company you join. No matter what company you working with, surely will feel some office politic. It a fact. But just take it easy. As long as our job is done, that will be fine. 

In so many company I been working with, surely will find good or bad. Maybe if list down, bad points is more than good points. 

Below are the good and the bad points I want to share with;

Good Points

• Hard to think and most of the points is bad..

Bad Points

• Colleague behaviour
• Gossip and talk behind
• Manager don't like 
• "Pilih Kasih" by management / manager
• Feel like the job done is not worth with paycheck
• Overwork
• No mercy
• Office politic
• No increment / bonus
• Work like hell

There are more point we can add up, but I just put some of the point only. 

It only matter of time to get out for the company if we feel not worth working with . Why time? The right time mean, high pay and we feel it want to escape from all the bad points.

As for me, after working in present company for 1 year, I feel it still the best company working with. Because it a US based company,  and the working environment is better with good paycheck and other benefits. Hope that I will stay in my present company until I retired. Just pray and hope in God. 

 

Back to Work

I'm back to work after 2 weeks break. My 2 weeks off, I was in KK with my Gf. And be going to KK again on the 28th May 09.

2nd Day in KK

Feel very tired after whole day driving aroun the city. My GF dad adited to DSH after check-up. Just  matter of time for surgery. Now on my bed and after finish typing I will go to sleep.  

Journey to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah - 1st Day

This is my journey to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, with my girlfriend and her parent. And it was also my first time to drive to KK with my new Suzuki LD255. Want to test the new car. It my proud car. bigger than Vios. and stable for long distance. The reason I drive to KK is not because want to test my new car, but to bring my girlfriend dad for further treatment at Damai Medical Centre. Her dad had a diabetes and effected his left foot.

I start wake-up about 5 a.m. and by 6.30 a.m. already at Labuan Ferry. The schedule for the departure suppose at 7.30 a.m. but only about 8.30 a.m. it start the journey. malaysia time la... Reach Menumbok about 10.00 a.m. and drive straight to KK. Reach KK about 1 p.m. By the time reach KK, everyone was hungry and go for lunch. Lunch at Penampang. After lunch, go looked for Damai Medical Centre and hotel to stay.

At the evening, we have dinner at Home Restaurant at 1Borneo. Kind of expensive but the dish is alot. Don't know worth with value of money or not. After the dinner, go lepak around 1Borneo. But the time ws too short as we arrived 1Borneo almost 8.30p.m. and by the time first dinner is about 9.00p.m. Most of the shop close at 10 p.m. So by 10.00 p.m. need to go back to hotel to take some rest as tomorrow will be another tiring day again. P.S. I forgot to mention that the parking at 1Borneo cost me RM5. And because I just part for 1 1/2 hours, it the most expensive parking I ever park. But worth because it just near the entrance. But I should parking for the whole day and night. Then it will be really worth.

As the time now is 12.19 a.m. and better get some sleep. Continue to blog tonight again for 2nd day.

In 1Borneo, KK

I was in 1 Borneo, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. This is my 2nd time to 1Borneo. My 1st time was last year when the complex was still in progress to complete. Time fly really fast. within 1 year, it completed all the main building, comprising of 4 main hotel, apartment, condominium, and shopping mall. It said that 1Borneo is the largest shopping complex in East Malaysia. 

Arrive at Menumbok, Sabah

Arrive at Menumbok, ferry terminal. It a small town. U can see at the picture I took. can still see the old wooden shophouse. But it the busy town. Because it the ferry point at main land. If the ferry point is shift to other location, guest it will turn into fisherman town. 

K.K. Here I Come

My Car... LD255..

Wake up early about 5 am, and to ferry terminal for boarding. Suppose the ferry sail at 7 a.m. but delay until 8.20am. Malaysia time la. This my 2nd time to K.K. But first time drive to K.K. driving my new car. Nw stil in ferry and on the way to Memumbok. Should reach Memumbok about 10 am.
