Past & Present in Working Life

I really like the working environment in my new job. Every work there must be pressure and stress. But it depend what the level of stress one will encounter. But I really like the environment in my office. So quite and far away from town of Bintulu. Not really stressful and the work is OK la. Why I say not that stressful? Because the project that I monitor still not yet start. That why it zero stress and pressure. Plus the environment is surrounding by the little jungle. Every morning I can listen to the bird singing on my window. It a black with white coloured bird. Don't know what it called. The coffee is always there in the coffee maker. Plus, there always a free breakfast in the kitchen everyday! Compared to my last job, It less stress and working environment is much better. Well below are 10 comparissons I make;

Present Job (M)

1. Zero Stress (Project not start yet)

2. Can have a good nite sleep

3. Cola (not coka-cola la) every month

4. Good pay and working environment

5. Good working environment - fair and square.

6. Free coka-cola and soft drinks in office for staffs (ini baru coka-cola minum)

7. Free breakfast everyday


8. Each staff just do his/her own duties only

9. Take time to complete the job... but must complete within or before due time

10. well... still a good place to work in


Previous Job (H)

1. Stressful until can get hypertension in work.


2. Nightmare...even thinking of work before sleep, during sleep and wake up.

3. Cola apa? Coka-cola untuk clients pun kena beli sendiri

4. Teruk punya. Pilih kasih punya la. If the new staff the HQ related to big boss, surely semua kasi punya.

5. Naik gaji jangan harap la... Susah nak naik punya


6. Jangan kata staffs! Clients datang office meeting, nak beli coka-cola pun muka masam sudah. Kena beli sendiri punya. Just served Mineral water. Itu pun kalau boleh paling murah punya. 50 cents!

7. Breakfast?! Kena beli sendiri. If company provided everyday, bankrupt!!! how to take care of the staff like this?


8. If dapat, 1 staff buat kerja 10 staffs...

9. Sorry la. Start 8.00 am, kerja kerja kerja saja la. Semua urgent punya. Tak urgent pun jadi urgent.

10. Aduh... kalau dapat, lepas dapat bonus, keluar la... (my ex-staffs told me)

But thing now change as I managed to get into better job in Oil & Gas Company i.e. one of the best and well do company in Malaysia. Well it a miracle to enter that company, as alot application, only me can accepted into it. Big thank you for all those help me to get into this company. Hope it will last me in the company until my retirement.
